‎Mr. Emmanuel Boakye Cautions Student Journalists About Fake News

‎A renowned construction expert, Mr. Emmanuel Boakye, has advised student journalists at the OTEC School of Journalism to refrain from rushing to publish news that may turn out to be false.

‎According to him, fake news hampers the personal growth of journalists and tarnishes their integrity.

‎Mr. Boakye further noted that the rise of social media content creators has, in many cases, undermined the credibility of professional journalism, reducing it to mere gossip and misinformation that often causes harm to others.

‎He therefore urged aspiring journalists to focus on producing accurate, credible, and peace-promoting stories, devoid of exaggeration or falsehood.
