A fully packed list of Government activities have been detailed by the Minister of State in charge of Government Communications Felix Ofosu Kwakye.
According to Ofosu Kwakye, the report of the 6th October Helicopter tragedy will be presented to the National Security Council on Monday after which the details of the report will be made public at a media briefing on Tuesday.
The incident, which claimed the life of eight persons, including ministers of state, other government officials and crew members.
The illustrious men who lost their lives were Dr Edward Omane Boamah, then Minister for Defence; Dr Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Minister for Environment, Science and Technology; Muniru Mohammed Limuna, Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator; Dr Samuel Sarpong, Vice-Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC); and Mr Samuel Aboagye, a former parliamentary candidate.
Also on the unfortunate flight were Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manaen Twum Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah, all members of the Ghana Armed Forces.
On Wednesday the President will launch the Nkoko Nkitinkiti Project in Kumasi which is aimed at eliminating poultry imports and significantly boosting local production.
In a state of the Nations address in Parliament this year, President John Mahama said the project will cover 55,000 households and produce eggs and fresh poultry to the market.
Additionally , on Thursday the Finance Minister, Ato Forson will present the 2026 Budget in Parliament announcing government policy initiatives in the year ahead.
The Minister described the coming week as a very important week for the country.
